Description

The Bosch Indramat R911228647 (TCM 1.1-04-W0) is an energy storage unit, or auxiliary capacitance module, designed to provide additional power during acceleration. Weighing around 6 kg, it has an auxiliary capacitance of 4 mF and uses natural convection for cooling with a required minimum clearance of 80 mm on both top and bottom for optimal airflow. Measuring 208 x 355 x 100 mm, it accepts a maximum wire size of 6 mm2 for power connections with a recommended maximum stud torque of 2.5 Nm. This module is an optional accessory for power supply modules responsible for running Indramat AC drives. When transformer power exceeds 10 kVA, additional capacitors such as the R911228647 (TCM 1.1-04-W0) and soft start resistors are employed to regulate inrush current.
