The Rexroth Indramat R911274668 (KDA 3.3-150-3-APD-W1) is a microcomputer-controlled main spindle drive used for speed and position control of Indramat motors. It includes a front control panel consisting of a digital display and keypad, where operating parameters are stored in a removable AS module. This module contains not only the drive's firmware, but it can be duplicated for use in drives with similar parameters. The drive delivers an output of up to 150 Amps, with a continuous output of 90 Amps, and a speed command value of ±10 Volts analog. Other features include an auxiliary encoder input for motor feedback, a parallel position command value interface, and an accompanying blower (220 Volts AC input voltage) for air cooling. Important to note that faults and diagnostic codes are displayed on the control panel, providing efficient troubleshooting assistance. Also, removal of the AS module while the drive power is on is not advisable.
